The Wall

The world is surrounded by The Wall, a circular structure.  It is older than recorded history, incredibly tall, and generally thought to be impenetrable.

The insult “Wall Climber” is used to refer to someone so foolish and overconfident that they often get in over their head.

Communities that lay close enough to see the Wall often use the term “wallward” when giving directions.

Overheard from a farmer near Duskstone Keep:

“Circ? Nah, prefer a place more wallward than that. All those buildings, and nothin’ to brace up against. It all seems so small, ya know? Floaty. Unmoored. Makes me feel like a strong breeze could swoop in and knock it all down.”
